The Chaddi and The Banian

The Chaddi and the Banian
enjoyed each other's wit.
They humoured one another,
and traded naughty quips.
They buckwassed together,
as and when they thought fit.

One day the Banian decided
'twas time to take a break.
"It's getting to be quite a bore,
Must go for my own sake!"
So off he went, all on his own.
The Chaddi, he chose to forsake!

The Chaddi waited patiently
Hoping every day
That Banian would return, seeing
the error of his ways.
'Twas a long and boring wait,
when The Banian was away.

Finally, one lovely morn
The Banian returned with a bang!
"I just could not keep away,
from the buckwaas gang!"
"Welcome back, my dear Banian!"
The Chaddi happily sang.

And so the prodigal Banian,
amidst many a cheer,
Returned to the world of blogs,
and to those who held him dear.
And all shouted out - "Hurrah!
The King of Buckwaas is here!"
